Abstract This paper analyzed the Zijinshan Cu-Au ore using Electron Probe microanalysis and discussed the petrogenic relationship among the deposits of Caixi pluton and Sifang pluton in the southwest of Fujian province. The results indicated that biotite in Caixi monzogranite varied from high-Fe biotite to high-Mg biotite, and biotite in Sifang granodiorite was categorized into high-Mg biotite. The compositions of the both biotite fell into crust-mantle zone on the relation diagram of the material sources of biotite implied that Caixi pluton and Sifang pluton belong to crust-mantle granitoid. The MF value of Caixi granite biotite was lower than that of Sifang granodiorite biotite suggested that more mantle material were mingled during the formation of granodiorite. The increment of mantle material might be the genetic reason for Sifang pluton hosting Zijinshan ore deposit.
