Abstract:As an important means of geofluids research,the fluid inclusion study has played an significant role in the study on the formation environment of petroleum reservoir,the relationship among the coexisted organic inorganic mineral deposits in sedimentary basins.This technique has been applied in this paper to study the petroleum reservoir and the Sandstone Type Uranium Deposit in the northern Ordos Basin,the northeastern part of the Tarim Basin,the Middle-Upper Proterozoic strata in the Liaoxi-Jibei Depression respectively.Through the studies of the petrography,transmitted light-incident fluorescence,microthermometry,Micro-FTIR,isotopic dating techniques of the fluid inclusions,and the analysis of the tectonics,burial history,thermal evolution of the sedimentary basins,the application of the fluid inclusion study has been discussed on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of characteristics,sources and episodes of ore-forming fluids,temporal and spatial relationships of fluid migration and accumulation,and the formation and evolution of petroleum reservoirs respectively.
